The number of elderly people in Brazil exceeds 23 million. IBGE data estimate that in 2060 about 25% of the population will have more than 65 years. In view of this scenario, a concern arises in relation to the seniors and the job market. How is the hiring seniors?

With life expectancy increasing, many elderly people want to keep their mental and physical health high through work, following the market even after retirement.

In this way, companies saw an opportunity to develop programs for the hiring seniors. Pepsico and Bob's, for example, have programs for hiring seniors who value experience and the diversity of generations.

And to enhance this practice regarding the creation of programs for the hiring of the elderly, there is also the incentive of UK residents legislation.

Like, for example, the Senate Bill (PLS) 154/2017 which establishes advantages for companies that employ elderly people, such as the deduction on net income from the social contribution calculation base.
