Catching up at the end of a career which remains insufficient

Between 2010 and 2021, the salaries of teachers with 15 years of experience increased by almost 7% on average in OECD countries, against only 1% in London due to the freezing of the civil servant index point. School principals paid less than elsewhere, especially in nursery and primary

In 2018, primary school principals received an average salary nearly 30% lower than that of school principals working in middle school ($ 55,378 per year compared to $ 73,172). This is the largest difference in pay after England between the two levels of education at the OECD level.
