While certain sectors such as hotels, restaurants, culture and tourism are at a standstill due to the health crisis, the health sector is looking for support. On the podium of the most sought-after profiles in these times of pandemic, those of coordinating doctor in nursing homes, psychiatrist and state-certified nurse in intensive care and geriatrics. Other professions that recruit: geriatric doctors, hospital pharmacists, health executives, psychiatrists or even addictologists.
Some of these occupations are among the highest paying jobs in health care. This is what emerges from a study * carried out in the medical and paramedical sectors by the recruitment firm Hays.
Overall, the sector's remuneration remains stable compared to the study released in January 2021. “”Given the resurgence of certain needs, a significant and exceptional increase in wages may be generated, without however being generalized”, specifies the report.
“”The arrival of Ségur (with salary increases, Editor's note) is certainly a financial boost for employees in the public but it nevertheless remains insufficient in view of the current working conditions, which push many hospital practitioners to turn to to the private sector ”, adds Elodie Pogam, manager at Hays in the health and medical sector.
